Studio Policies

 

Our policies to maintain a safe, professional, community based environment
Honeyglass Media is committed to these policies in an effort to maintain a safe, professional, inclusive, community based environment.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any persons, entity or business; as well as the right to amend and/or abort contract agreements based on violations of these policies.



 

By booking any photography, videography, Make-Up or other services, the client agrees to the following terms and conditions.


1. Booking and Reservation of Services

1.1. Corporate Events, Weddings and Travel Bookings:

A non-refundable booking fee of $1000 is required to secure the date. The remaining balance is due in two equal payments: one halfway through the planning timeline, and the final payment is due no later than thirty (30) calendar days before the event date.

1.2. Commercial & Personal Photography, Videography, Make-Up, Art and All Other Service Types Rendered:

The full session fee must be paid in order to reserve the date. This fee is non-refundable and will be credited toward the contracted service.

1.3. Proposals:

All proposals issued are valid for seventy-two (72) hours. After this time, the date may be released without further notice. Soft holds do not guarantee availability.


2. Payments and Fees

2.1. All prices are subject to applicable sales tax (currently 8.25% for Texas).

2.2. Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, Venmo, Paypal and bank transfer (where applicable).

2.3. Payment plans are available and must follow the agreed-upon schedule. Failure to adhere to the payment plan may result in the cancellation of services or the delay in deliverables.

2.4. Returned Payments:

A $50 fee will be assessed for any returned payment, declined credit card, or chargeback attempt not authorized by Honeyglass Media LLC.


3. Rescheduling and Cancellations

3.1. Client-Initiated Rescheduling:

Clients may request to reschedule their session once, with at least seven (7) days' notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be completed within six (6) months of the original date. Additional rescheduling requests may incur a fee.

3.2. Client-Initiated Cancellation:

All payments made are non-refundable. Cancellations result in forfeiture of the retainer and any payments made.

3.3. Photographer-Initiated Cancellation:

In the rare event that Honeyglass Media LLC is unable to perform the services due to illness, emergency, or force majeure, all efforts will be made to reschedule or find a suitable replacement. If rescheduling is not possible, all monies paid will be refunded in full, and this shall constitute the client's sole remedy.


4. Session Conduct and Expectations

4.1. Clients must arrive on time and be prepared for the session. Tardiness may reduce shooting time without a refund or reschedule.

4.2. Honeyglass Media LLC maintains a professional and inclusive working environment. Discriminatory, abusive, or inappropriate behavior toward staff or collaborators will result in immediate termination of services without refund.

Honeyglass Media does not tolerate, condone, or ignore any form of violence, harassment, bullying, bigotry or intimidation against or contractors or clientele.

Honeyglass Media maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or religion.

We are committed to a safe and inclusive environment, and any breaches will be handled through immediate action.

4.3. Minors are not permitted at adult-only sessions (such as boudoir) under any circumstances.


5. Image Rights and Usage

5.1. Honeyglass Media LLC retains the copyright to all images. Clients receive a personal-use license unless otherwise specified in writing with applicable fees.

5.2. Clients may share digital images online with proper credit. Alteration or editing of images, including filters, cropping, or AI-based manipulation or generation, is strictly prohibited unless performed by the photographer.

5.3. Commercial use, resale, or third-party distribution requires a separate written agreement and usage license.

5.4. Honeyglass Media LLC reserves the right to use any images created for portfolio, marketing, website, publication, or promotional use unless the client has submitted a written request to opt out prior to the session.


6. Deliverables and Archival

6.1. Standard turnaround time for portrait galleries is 2–4 weeks unless otherwise specified in the contract. The turnaround time for weddings/elopements is 6-8 weeks unless otherwise specified in the contract.

6.2. Final images are delivered via online gallery platforms. Products such as albums, prints, or physical deliverables are processed after client approval.

6.3. Online galleries are hosted for thirty (30) days. Clients are responsible for downloading and archiving their files. Honeyglass Media LLC is not responsible for the long-term storage of galleries.

6.4. Raw files are not provided under unless proper licensing agreements are made.


7. Retouching and Editing

7.1. Final images are selected and edited at the photographer’s discretion. Editing includes basic retouching, color correction, and tonal adjustments.

7.2. Additional retouching requests may be subject to an additional fee and are not guaranteed.

7.3. No unedited or RAW files will be delivered, and clients may not request editing changes to the photographic style.


8. Limit of Liability

8.1. In the unlikely event of technical failure, data loss, equipment malfunction, or unforeseen circumstances that prevent fulfillment of the contract, liability is limited to the return of all monies paid.

8.2. Honeyglass Media LLC is not liable for missed images caused by interference from other parties, late arrivals, or noncompliance with session guidelines.


9. Studio and On-Location Access

9.1. The studio is a private, by-appointment-only location. Entry is limited to scheduled clients and pre-approved individuals.

9.2. Clients agree to abide by location guidelines, including cleanliness, respect for studio property, and no unauthorized use of studio space, props, equipment, furniture or appliances.

9.3. For on-location sessions, clients are responsible for securing all necessary permits, permissions, and access rights. Any fees incurred (e.g., parking, entry, location rental) are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise specified.

9.4 Security Cameras & Monitoring

Security cameras monitor all studio areas constantly for security and insurance purposes. Cameras are not installed in changing rooms or restrooms to protect client privacy. By using our studio, clients acknowledge and accept that cameras may monitor their sessions.‍

9.5 Option to Disable Cameras

We understand that some sessions may require additional privacy. For intimate sessions or client comfort, cameras can be turned toward the ceiling to disable video monitoring, though audio recording remains active.

‍9.6 To request Option to Disable Cameras, the client must provide proof of insurance covering potential damages and sign a liability waiver accepting full responsibility for any injury to guests and any damage to the studio, including furniture, props, equipment, and the building; and pay a retainer amount determined by the studio to guarantee safety of our studio and equipment.


10. Force Majeure

Honeyglass Media LLC is not responsible for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather, pandemic, fire, governmental orders, or interruption of transportation. In such cases, best efforts will be made to reschedule.


11. Policy Revisions

Honeyglass Media LLC reserves the right to revise these Studio Policies at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on the website. Continued use of services after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.


12. ALL OF OUR WORK IS DONE BY HUMANS

No AI is ever used in any of our work.

We’re proud of our fully human made deliverables and value art made the right way, by artists.

It’s our promise that not a single byte of data you’ll receive from us has been generated, altered, enhanced or written by AI. Whether it’s an image, video or email, It was made by us.

If we can’t make it ourselves we will contract skilled artists who can. No environment destroying technology involved. Our triumphs and mistakes are our own. The Human Way, the Honeyglass way.


13. Good Faith Agreements

We operate in mutual good faith with our network of clients and contractors. Respecting each others time, skills, work and personhood are paramount to our beliefs here at Honeyglass. We trust that our clients and contractors feel similarly and any violations of that trust may result in the dissolution of any previously set contracts or agreements and prevent future such agreements from existing.


14. Inclusion

Honeyglass Media maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or religion.

We are committed to a safe and inclusive environment, and any breaches will be handled through immediate action.

Zero tolerance.


15. Violence/Harrassment

Honeyglass Media does not tolerate, condone, or ignore any form of violence, harassment, bullying, bigotry or intimidation against or contractors or clientele.


16. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone



These Studio Policies apply to all clients of Honeyglass Media LLC, including but not limited to our owners, operators and sub-contractors.
By Booking You agree to comply and make all guests and or representatives responsible as well.


You agree to leave The Studio and surrounding property in the same condition as when you arrived.

To ensure the safety and longevity of our studio equipment and furniture, please adhere to the rules. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in fines or charges for damages.

  • You are liable for any damage to the Studio interior (e.g. walls, floors, windows, equipment, appliances) that takes place during your rental/booking
  • Please help us maintain this clean, nicely painted white gallery wall in the studio, by using caution when handling equipment and art supplies.
  • Report any damaged equipment or furniture immediately to avoid additional charges.
  • Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and high-quality studio environment.


Booking instructions (sent prior to rental) must be followed, photos sent as instructed.

  • Failure to do so will result in additional fees.


You agree to have and provide your own liability insurance for rentals.

  • Proof of $100,000 min COI required.
  • This must be provided at the time of booking or at latest 72hrs before your rental or else be subject to cancelation and loss of associated reservation fee


We’re not responsible for the personal property of renters or guests present during and anything left after reservation.

  • Please keep track of your personal belongings, equipment, props, ect...
  • We do our best to notify clients if something from their session has been left in the studio, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee this notice nor the storage, shipping or availability for pick up of said item
  • Please reach out quickly if something has been left behind for best possibility of return, we will do our best to accomidate


The cleaning fee does not cover general cleaning up after your shoot.

  • This is your responsibility.
  • This includes returning furniture to its original location, removing ALL of the garbage and taking it with you, sweeping up excess dirt/debris and wiping up any spills that took place while you were there.


You are liable for all equipment and furniture on premises.

  • Any and all equipment that is damaged or broken will be replaced at 1.5 x’s the retail price.
  • PLEASE use caution.
  • Do not stand on chairs, sofa or tables.


Our studio is a non-smoking environment.

  • No smoking inside of the studio, or on premises at any time.
  • Use of open flames (e.g. candles, oil lamps) and/or pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited in the studio.


Prohibited Items & Activities

The following items and activities are NOT allowed at this studio for the safety of our guests and property.

  • Body Oils
  • Fog/Haze Machines
  • Sticky or Excessive Liquids
  • Confetti
  • Glitter
  • Cake Smash
  • Smoking or Vaping
  • Illicit Drugs. Wee reserve the right to terminate agreements if any illegal activity is suspected
  • Pets and Animals (see pet policy for detail/exemptions)
  • Standing on Furniture
  • Rough handling of Backdrops
  • Dragging Furniture/Equipment/Props
  • Misuse of equipment, appliances, fixtures, furniture, props or plumbing
  • Any children should be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times
  • Fireworks of ALL kinds are prohibited
  • Sexual activity is prohibited
  • Please use caution when bringing food or drinks into studio. We ask that you not eat or drink on backdrops/props and dispose of trash properly
  • Music must be kept at a respectful volume and should not be heard on the outside of studio.
  • Underage drinking is prohibited. Honeyglass Media LLC studio does not sell alcohol.
  • We are not responsible for property loss/damage


Respect for Others - Please be courteous to other residents of the building

  • Knocking on other studio doors is prohibited as it may disrupt other residents business and violates guest privacy.
  • Be mindful of other guests by maintaining a respectful noise level and avoiding loud music, unless previously arranged with host in the contract.
  • Your booking only reserves the studio space.
  • You are not permitted to use any other part of the building during your visit, as the studio is located inside a commercial building.
  • No large groups coming and going,
  • All activities other than loading, unloading and welcoming guests, must remain INSIDE the studio.
  • Absolutely nothing can be stored or set up in hallways or common areas.


Groups of more than 10 people are not allowed in the studio at once in one space without notice and appropriate fees.


NO PETS are allowed in the studio unless arranged in agreement with a Pet Session.

  • Service animals are welcome. Please notify the studio manager of your intent to bring any service animals, at the time of booking.
  • Pet sessions available for fee


USE OF THE STUDIO AT YOUR OWN RISK.


A) You hereby waive your right to seek legal redress for mishaps, accidents, and losses while on our premises. You agree to release the host, its owners, agents, employees, affiliated independent contractors, or any other related personnel, the company and any of its subsidiaries of any and all liability for any and all accidents or injuries whether physical or mental, while in participation of, working and/or shooting in the studios, or any other activity in conjunction with this space, or situations that you encounter while renting the studio space.


B) You waive the studio and all leaseholders of any liabilities arising out of the use of the studio. The host or any of all leaseholders will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, loss or damage that occurs in the studio or on the premises.


C) It is your responsibility as the renter to carry liability insurances. The studio will ONLY be liable for the amount of rental fee if your shoot is delayed or canceled as a result of a situation that arises within the studio making the facilities/building unusable.


D) The studio expressly prohibits any illegal activity on its premises during the course of any rental. You agree to be solely responsible for the conduct and welfare of all persons accompanying your while on our premises. Please use caution when opening any windows. NO person is allowed to sit near an open window.


E) You agree to allow the studio representative to be present during the rental period if applicable (as decided by Studio Management) .
